17 people including women and children died in a terrible accident on a coach going from Karachi to Islamabad

On the way from Karachi to Islamabad, a passenger bus met with an accident near Pindi Bhattian, as a result of which 16 people were burnt to death and 15 were injured.
Talking about the accident, DPO Dr. Fahad said that 18 bodies have been removed, the driver of the bus and the pickup van have also died due to burns. 18 people died due to burns while 15 people were injured. They have been sent to the hospital for medical assistance, most of the injured are said to be in a critical condition.
According to DPO Dr. Fahad, the deceased will be identified through DNA, the injured have been shifted to Pindi Bhattian and Faisalabad hospitals.
The DPO says that diesel drums were kept in the pick-up. due to which the bus caught fire.
Rescue sources said that there were 35 to 40 passengers in the passenger bus, 15 people were injured, the surviving passengers said that the passenger bus was going from Karachi to Islamabad. Trapped, the passengers had no chance to get out.
Earlier, DSP Ehsan Zafar confirmed the casualties in the accident and said that more than 20 people have died in the accident that occurred near Pindi Bhattian on the Faisalabad highway, while there are fears of more casualties in the accident.

According to the police, a pickup van and a passenger bus collided around 4:00 am, after which the vehicles caught fire, both vehicles were burnt and completely destroyed. The pickup van was carrying diesel.
MS Pindi Bhattian Hospital says that the bodies of 11 people and 15 injured were brought to Kopindi Bhattian Hospital, 4 injured are in critical condition and have been transferred to Allied Hospital.
