Orange Line (Abdul Sattar Edhi) Bus Service Route Timings and Ticket Prices Details

Information Of Sindh Government and Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon inaugurated the Orange Line Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) bus service for the citizens of Karachi after five years of waiting.

The Orange bus service will run on a 3.88 km route from Orangi Town area of Karachi to Board Office Chowk, which has-been named the Abdul Sattar Edhi Bus as a tribute to the late social worker.

Speaking at the opening ceremony: Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that 20 air conditioned buses will-be run on this route, there will be Four bus stations and ticket booths on the way.

He more said that the 12 meter long bus has a seating capacity of 90 People and about 50 thousand citizens will benefit from this bus service.

Orange line Ticket Prices

Sharjeel Inam Memon also said that the bus tickets has-been kept between Rs 15 to Rs 20, Currently Rs 50 (changed Subject) keeping in view the financial crisis & the rising price of petrol, we have reduced the fare so that the common man can benefit from it.

The Sindh Transport Minister praised Pakistan People Party “PPP” Chairman Bilawal Bhutto & Prime Minister Mr Shehbaz Sharif for making efforts to complete the project.

He more said: that he had promised to bring another project bus services to make life easier for the people of Karachi.

Edhi Foundation Chairman Mr Faisal Edhi, Provincial Ministers Mr Nasir Hussain Shah & Labour Minister Saeed Ghani also attended the inauguration ceremony of orange line bus service karachi.

Earlier Sharjeel Inam Memon : had tweeted that the inauguration ceremony had been kept simple due to floods.

This shortest BRT Bus Service project is 3.88 km long & its track starts from Board Office & ends at Orangi Town TMA Office. The purpose of this is short route was to provide commuting convenience for Orange Town residents Peoples to the BRT Green Line bus service. But even after a long wait, this problem of the people of Orangi Town has not been solved.

Orange Line (Abdul Sattar Edhi) Bus service passengers have to get off almost half a km away from the Green Line Bus stop at the Board Office & this is also the reason why the number of passengers traveling on the Orange Line Bus is less and people are only riding it for fun in the air conditioned buses.

Speaking to Reporter : The citizens said that the Orange Line service will-be beneficial when passengers can reach the Green Line stop at the board office through it.

The Orange Line is a diesel hybrid Bus.

Fully Air-conditioning.

The bus will be 12 meters long and have 40 seats.

Wi-Fi internet facility in Orange bus service.

Mobile phone charging facility will also be available along with the also LCD screen.

Bus Timings

Start from morning 07:00Am to 10:pm night every bus arrives in station after 30 minutes.
